Mana Pools National Park

Great as few. Located in the North of the country, it was created in 1963 and named heritage in 1984.

It is undoubtedly the most wild park of Zimbabwe. With an area of approximately around 2200 sq km it is home to large concentrations of hippos and crocodiles. Mana Pools is famous for the high quality of its walking safaris (is the only Park of Africa which allows self-guided walking safaris…! having Lions!). It is only open to the public during the dry season it is impassable in the rainy season. It is ideal for the observation of lions, elephants, cheetahs and wild dogs.
