Pilanesberg National Park

With a size of 500 square km, the main feature of this park is extending through the center of an ancient extinct volcano more than 1200 million years ago.

The main artery of the Park is its Lake Mankwe. Despite being small in size it is possible to spot the Big 5 and concentrated to more than 7000 animal inside. Pilanesberg has been a success thanks to its strict programme of reintroduction, especially of black rhinos.
